Lost User Permissions

Hi

We're using a Windows Server 2012 R2 Domain Controller to control the domain within the company. However one user has lost permission to access their files within the user folder. I've added them as owner and given full control but it doesn't seem to have applied to all files within the folder. Is there a script or program which could apply the correct permissions throughout the folder?
