Server OS: Windows Server 2012 R2
Client OS(es): Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Server is a data storage server. We have shares set up that everyone uses. Sometimes when a user goes to navigate to the share windows explorer will "jump" directories. The best way I can explain it is this:
The user wants to Access "K:\Data\Data_Folder_Example\Example_Project". They will navigate to that folder, then windows explorer will change the directory to "K:\Data\" or "K:\Data\Data_Folder_Example" on its own.
This only happens with folders on the share. It doesn't happen with local folders. It happens sporadically and to different users. We have done virus scans on the clients, but not yet the server (It has a massive amount of data on it and would take a very..very long time to scan)
Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it? Any ideas? Any input would be appreciated.
