Hi,
We have a file server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition stores Citrix User profiles. Over the last couple of months we have an issue where we have users logging into a Citrix Desktop and are logged in with a temporary profile.
Further investigation with ProcMon shows that the ntuser.dat files are locked and the only way we have been able to get round this is by rebooting the entire file server which we have not been able to do during the working day as it is in use but other users.
I have logged a ticket with Citrix to check if there are any issues with the Citrix Infrastructure and that all checked out fine. The file server has a forefront endpoint protection client which is managed by System Center Endpoint Protection and the Citrix Engineer suggested that that may be the potential source of the problem.
Just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem and what was done to resolve the issue.
Regards,
Sunil
