I have a Windows SBS 2011 server with Shared Network Drives.
It would appear that after a few days Search indexing stops working.
When users start searching for file names today they do not get any search results for the current day, Only previous days, even though they can see the files they are looking for.
Once the server gets restarted the search indexing works again.
All network users cannot see the files. The server also does not see the files when you do a search.
I have to constantly restart the server for the users. Sometimes restarting the windows search corrects the problem. Sometimes I have to restart the server. I have even created a batch file with a schedule task to restart the windows search service and that does not work either.
Can somebody help me shed some light on what I need to do to repair this. I have rebuilt the indexing like 100 times now as well. Is there a way to reinstall it or something?
