Hi All,
I have a problem that is really making me pull my hair out.
We have a 2012 Essentials server at our head office and a 2008R2 server at our branch office connected via a secure tunnel. Both are DCs and host a DFS share.
In the head office all works as advertised, users can read and write and changes in this office appear at the branch office quickly and without error.
At the branch office, users can access the dfs share, read all files and folders, but cannot write to the share. Getting an access denied error even referring back to the user ie User1 tries to modify a file "Access denied - you need User1's permission to modify this file". But I am User1?!
Logged in as administrator at the branch on the DC I can modify files if I go through the local drive and explorer, but trying to make the same modification via the network and the dfs share gives me the access denied error!
As a test I took a perfectly functioning laptop from head office and logged onto the network at the branch and come up with the same error.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Richard
