Question regarding iSCSI sessions and MPIO (for HyperV cluster)
- Each host has 2 x iSCSI NICs for redundancy.
- SAN has 2 x available iSCSI ports.
We have 3 hosts.
1. Is it ok to map all 6 host iSCSI NICs to both SAN ports?
2. What is the best MPIO configuration to use (Least Queue Depth?)
3. Using MSFT iSCSI Initiator in Server 2008R2 doesn't seem to allow an auto configuration of discovery portals and MPIO settings. So do I need to add them all manually i.e. map each host NIC to each SAN port (discover source->target IP, configure MPIO)
