DFS DNS not working on some Clients, NetBIOS does

Hello,

i added a brand new Win8.1 notebook to my windows domain with DFS-N.

On all clients a i can access the DFS root via \\company.local\dfs and also \\company\dfs. On the new client \\company\dfs works perfect, \\company.local\dfs only shows the home dir share but nothing more.

Name resolution (ping company.local) is the same for both devices.

Can someone help or give a hint?
