Hi All,
I had a dfs folder configured for replication between server 2012 R2 nodes but later broke the replication group. Some files had replicated before breaking the group.
When I tried to create another replication group, I get the dfsr jet db not shutdown cleanly on the source server while the destination keeps waiting for the first replication. However, the solution I saw online stated that a backup should be done as it might lead to data loss.
Is there another solution that will not lead to data loss? I have over 1TB of data.
The DFS Replication service stopped replication on volume F:. This occurs when a DFSR JET database is not shut down cleanly and Auto Recovery is disabled. To resolve this issue, back up the files in the affected replicated folders, and then use the ResumeReplication WMI method to resume replication.
