Force authentication to a Window Server 2012 Domain Controller

Hi,

I have a tiny forest with a single domain and 3 domain controllers. The FFL and DFL are both Windows Server 2003. The 2 older DCs are running Windows Server 2003 (one is a VM and is just there for testing). A new one that was just promoted is running Windows Server 2012 Standard. From DCdiag and other tests, the Windows Server 2012 DC looks to have been properly promoted. What I am trying to do is at least for testing, force some clients to authenticate against the Windows Server 2012 DC without decommissioning the existing 2003 DCs.

I have read some posts mentioning registry tweaks to do this but I don't believe I have come across something specific to Server 2012?

I have yet to configure sites since this is just a small environment and there is only one subnet. For testing, however, I am open to configuring this as well as long as it gets the job done of force authenticating users to the 2012 DC.

Any help to point me to the right direction/kb would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
