DFSR not working correctly

I have tried to create DFS replication between one of our satellite offices and our main office. I can successfully create the replication group at both ends and the folder that needs to be replicated appears at the main office end, but that is all that appears, any files in the folder do not transfer across, no matter how small. It gives a WMI error, which I have looked into and ran the fixes for, but they don't have any effect. Also, I can run the Propagation test from either end referencing either server and that will run successfully. Can someone tell me why files wont replicate. I have removed the replication groups and tried starting from a blank DFS Management setup. I have created test text files before and after the replication group was created, but I cant get the files to replicate and its doing my head in. Any help would be awesome.
If I run the Health Report I get a "Cannot access the local WMI repository" error on the server in our main office, and on the satellite server I get "Communications errors are preventing replication with partner" and "Inconsistent configuration detected (invalid object)" errors. I don't get why a propagation test works and a health check doesn't
