I have an issue with DFS replication after we had an IP address change on the remote site it replicates too.
The source server server A (SRV2012) replicates over VPN to server B (SRV2008).
This was working until an IP address change was done on the site (server B).
I can ping and nslookup both ways so DNS seems to be ok.
If I run the replication from server A to server B, I get the error:
The member "Server B" could not be contacted to get current schedule status. The error returned was "The DFS replication WMI connection or synchronization object was not found"
If I do replicate now from DFS management from server B to server A it does comes up with the schedule and you can click ok and it reports as successful.
Checking the DFS folder on server A to see if it did actually replicate does not bring through a little test.txt file
So there is obviously a communication issue but I'm at a loss as to where it may be?
Remember this did work until the IP change on server B site
Thanks in advance for any information.
Regards,
Glenn
