Hi, everybody.
I got the HDD-offline message saying there was a conflict in the unique-id's.
I have put it online, correcting this issue in control panel>administrative tools>disk manager.
My problem is that the four disks now appear as 'unallocated'... I had tons of data, mostly photos and documents on this array :-(
How can I recover the info on the array? The idea of a RAID10 was that the failure of one disk should be recoverable, by copying the contents of the failed disk from the mirrored counterpart, right? Well... one HDD went offline... is the whole array 'dead'?
If so, what the use of mirroring the disks?...

I can give all sorts of info on the machine, but no use in listing a lot of info, you won't need - please say what information/details you need.
It's running on W7 and the RAID10 was created with AMD's RaidXpert. This also says 4 physical drives - no logical drives... The HDD's are 4 WD 3TB RED.
