Hi,
we have a backup server running Windows 2008 R2 that runs DFSR.
We have 4 branch servers also running Windows 2008R2 that are running DFSR and setup to replicate folders to the backup server.
We experienced a disk corruption on the backup server and we cannot access the DFSR replicated folders anymore. I have tried to run a chkdsk but i still cannot access the folders.
Server is filled with errors:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume DATA.
Application popup: Windows - Corrupt File : Exception Processing Message 0xc0000102 Parameters 0x000007FEFD25718C 0x000007FEFD25718C 0x000007FEFD25718C 0x000007FEFD25718C

". The write operation will fail with error -1022 (0xfffffc02). If this error persists then the file may be damaged and may need to be restored from a previous backup.
It looks so bad i am thinking the only solution left is to delete the backup server volume where the replicated DATA resides and recreate it.
How do i handle this on the DFSR side of things? Would that be enough the recreate the volume, and replication will start from scratch or should i delete system folders too, uninstall DFSR and recreate replication groups?
Thanks
