Hi all

I have windows 2008R2 as a domain controller and Rightnow I have enabled Additional domain controller in windows2008r2, But Iam facing the issues in Homefolder, below is my message also Kindly advice and help me.
I have few questions with regards on creating of Home folders for Domain Users. I have 1 Main Domain Controller and 1 additional domain controller (using as backup) in my domain.

As per normal setting, all my users home folders are currently pointed to the main Domain controller which i have set it using the user profile method.

However, in view of the main domain controller is down and not working. How do i ensure that my users will still have access to their home folders.

Because in Additional domain controller it has the same Ip pointing to windows2008r2domain controller, If I change anything in the Additional domain controller that gets replicated to domain controller.

Solution I made,

For this I have enabled DFS between Domain controller and Additional Domain controller,  And right now I got the home folder with permission in Additional domain controller, However in Additional domain controller user profile tab it is pointing to domain controller Ip, Kindly help me how to configure the ADC homefolder incase if Domain controller goes down
