The Problem
We have a person at work who has an issue where she sees "ghost" documents in a certain shared folder on the server that don't actually exist there since they were deleted or moved the day before.
Another issue is there appears to be a "lag" between when documents show up for her on her computer after they are created or deleted.
If she reboots her computer than everything starts working again just fine at least for the short term until this problem happens again.
About the folder
This folder is a working directory meaning that files get dumped and moved from there daily so you should never see a file dated from the day before since they are moved from there the day before and the folder is emptied.
Details about the systems involved.
The server is setup as a file server and Active Directory as it's primary roles.
The workstation she is using is a Dell 3010 with Windows 8 Pro.
Comments
I've never seen this type of issue before and she is the only person in the whole company that is having this issue. I hope somebody here has an idea of what is causing this.
