Hi guys,
I've just completed an upgrade of our core data services to Server 2012.
I have a mail server (SBS 2011) that runs on a different network (directly connected to the router) (192.168.0.0), which used to run Windows Server Backup to a file share (192.168.1.6) on our main network (192.168.1.0). It used an SMB file share for this.
I have found that the backups have stopped running. When I try to access the file share from any computer on the 192.168.0.0 network, it simply states that the share cannot be found. I can not access the server by going to \\server \\server.network.local or \\server\share either.
I have tried:
- Disabling firewall on both ends
- Pinging file server from 192.168.0.0 network
- Telnet to SMB ports - works
Would anyone be able to suggest why this would happen?
Many thanks in advance,
Matt
