Hi Guys
I've installed a new VM running Windows 2012 R1 to be used as a file server, deduplication will be used
I have a folder called c:\share on the server, and within here i mount volumes for each dept (eg :tax, corporate etc...), and then just share c:\share as "share"
so the path will be \\server\share\tax as an example.
the mounting works 100%, and i can access the volumes locally on the server.
i however cannot access them off the network, either by \\server\share\mount_point or \\server\c$\share\mount_point, all i get is access is denied.
Any share thats created that does'nt have a mounted volume works fine.
I've even created test volumes (with default permissions) and mounted them, and they cannot be accessed via the network.
I have double checked access on the volumes etc...
have i forgot something? I've done this many times on 2003/2008, and no issues...
