All,
I have DFS-N enabled with 7 sites and 7 targets. Each AD site has its own file server (target).
I use lowest cost to determine the target each client hits.
This works well, and I have no issues.
The question I now have is ....
I have two targets in the same NY site. ServerA\Sales and ServerB\Sales. Both shares point to the same DFS-N target, which is abc.local\sales.
How do I configure DFS so that NY users will always try to hit ServerA\Sales first, and then if its not available, will try to hit ServerB\Sales?
I know about DFS Prioritization, but im confused about which specific command to run and the arguments / switches to run with the command.
Please let me know what the command would look like, or how to configure this in DFS.
Thanks,
