How do I search for files that specifically contain underscores?

So, we're using Revit at our office, and it puts a bunch of unnecessary *_backup and *_temp folders on our network. Sometimes the * ends with whitespace, and sometimes it doesn't, so we end up with things like "file_backup" and "file _backup". The issue that I'm having is that I'm trying to use windows search to find these files, without returning results for *backup and *temp, which is what I get when I search for *_backup or *_temp. There are lots of folders on our network named temp and backup that aren't what I'm looking for. Is this possible with Windows Search or do I have to use a third party tool?

Running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard with Windows Search Service role installed.

I've been searching for documentation or other people with this issue to no avail.
