I have a server that has a public IP. There's no firewall between the server and the internet, so there's not NAT in place.
When I try to access SMB (tcp/445) to my home connection, I cannot access it. However, I also have another server from the same network, and I can access it via UNC.
Now, for troubleshooting, I've turned off the Firewall for Windows and still I cannot access it. Performed Telnet and TCPing and both returned inaccessible and ports are closed.
Again, there's no firewall or filtering imposed because I can successfully RDP in the server from my home network. Is there some configuration that limits the access of SMB or is there an issue with different ISP?
