DFS Namespace for Multiple users

Hi Guys,

I am having several doubts over using a DFS. 

In our company we have more than 20 shared folders and it is getting hard for the IT Admins to control the drive maps. 

However the shares are mostly going to be used by multiple users accessing many files in the directory altogether. 

I have read that the recommended use for DFS is where there is only a single user access or a read only basis.
